What the Fed’s Wednesday announcement means for the market – and your money
The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) is stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Fears of a resurgence of the pandemic and lingering supply chain problems require an economic stimulus to avoid a recession, but the threat of rising inflation persists.
Without going into too much detail, when the Fed convened on Wednesday to discuss a policy change, the market was volatile, which it usually is.
The FOMC decided to pull out twice as quickly as it had originally planned. Although this is a policy change, we believe the market primarily expected these changes.
Obviously, the Fed is trying to communicate a bias in favor of fighting inflation. At the same time, the decision to hasten the end of the bond buying program signals to the market that the Fed has confidence in the economy and in the current pace of hiring – that’s a good thing.
And with that report now out of the way, we can focus on companies reporting fourth quarter earnings in the coming weeks – for which we expect generally positive data.
We’ll keep you posted as we go along.
Considering all of this, here is how we approached our business opportunities in Strategic trader this week…
Join the electric vehicle revolution, go back to an old favorite and make a profit
On Monday we added a brand new name to the Strategic trader wallet.
We’ve been watching this company for some time now, as it pivots to become a major player in the electric vehicle (EV) arena, and we believe it is uniquely positioned to mix nostalgia and enthusiasm for electric vehicles.
REPLAY NOW AVAILABLE: Louis just dropped a bomb
Next, the Fed breathed new life into the stock market on Wednesday by signaling that it was prepared to hike interest rates three times in 2022 to combat mounting inflationary pressures.
And with the S&P 500 climbing back to its recent highs, we had a great opportunity to enter a new trade in one of the stocks we’re tracking in the portfolio: a former oil favorite.
This company is currently full of bullish momentum, and we expect a good result for this trade.
And finally, to end the week, we took some profits despite global volatility …
- 0.18% to Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. (NASDAQ:OF THEM) in five days …
- 0.51% to The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:SAY) in nine days …
- And 5.15% to Constellation Brands Inc. (NYSE:STZ) in eight days.

What to do before January 1, 2022
The final agenda comes from InvestorPlace CEO Brian Hunt.
On December 8, a trio of legendary analysts – Eric Fry, Louis Navellier and Luke Lango – came together to host one of the most important events of their careers: the Early Warning Summit 2022.
During the summit, they warned viewers of the big moves and major events that will impact the stock market in 2022.
- Get on the safe side of these moves and you may never have to worry about money again.
- But if you get caught off guard or don’t take the right action, it could become a major source of regret for the rest of your life.
To best prepare you for any market situation, Louis, Eric and Luke have revealed the step by step playbook you must follow if you want to make a small fortune in 2022.
They used this same playbook that our readers used to beat the Dow Jones by 9X in 2020 during history’s rapid bearish crash.
When I say that Louis, Luke, and Eric see events that could rock the markets early next year, I really mean it… and I want you to be in the best possible financial position.
the Early Warning Summit 2022this is where you want to be before the 2022 kicks off.

They analyzed over 5,000 stocks, and this small group of stocks represent the fast-growing companies among the top-grossing opportunities for 2022, and those eight stocks are the best of the best.
